The Situation:
Clermont County was replacing an aging bridge with new 71-foot-long prestressed bridge beams. The waterproofing admixture Encore Precast was using became unavailable for several months. With project deadlines approaching, an alternative waterproofing admixture was needed that could achieve a stripping strength of 5,000 psi within 24 hours.
The Solution:
ConSeal was able to quickly provide ConBlock CDA along with technical dosing support based on the project’s batch design. ConBlock CDA met their preformance requirements and enabled them to stay on schedule and meet their construction deadline.
