The Situation:
Grimm Building Materials, a premier provider of masonry, landscaping, and precast products, began searching for an alternative to coal tar epoxy (CTE) to coat their precast products. New regulations impacting CTE and other coal tar–based products made a new solution necessary.
The Solution:
CS-1200, an eco-friendly, waterborne waterproof coating, was engineered to replace coal tar epoxy with a safer, more user-friendly solution. Beyond performance, CS-1200 can be color matched, this allowed ConSeal to create a distinctive custom color called “Grimm Purple” enhancing their brand identity.
