The Situation:
Being a picturesque ski resort town in Northern Italy, Varese desired to keep utility lines underground in place of having them strung across the city. Varese used utility box culverts under their roads to run: electrical lines, fiber optics, and other public utilities.
The Solution:
Due to housing high voltage electrical lines, it was critical that these utility box culverts have a watertight seal. Therefore, the utility box culverts were sealed with CS-102 Butyl Sealant and CS-212 Exterior Joint Wrap. The success of this project led to the resort town later installing a watertight underground trash system. Quality, watertight installations lead to return customers!
