Stormwater detention basins are useful to help prevent flooding and erosion. In this case, a stormwater detention basin was being installed under a parking lot for Cracker Barrel in Cincinnati, Ohio. This 600,000-gallon system required a watertight product to seal the joints for optimum system performance.
To provide the watertight seal, CS-102 was used in the joint of the stormwater detention basins. To help insure water tightness, and prevent backfill from getting in the joint during backfill, CS-50 primer and ConWrap CS-212 were used on the exterior sections of the stormwater detention basins. This combination provided the required watertight seal of the stormwater detention basins.
