The Situation:
The Lucasville Wastewater Treatment Plant in Scioto County required repairs to a concrete wastewater aeration basin after many years of service. Over time, joint damage and cracks had developed throughout the structure, making it necessary to drain the system and restore its integrity.
The Solution:
To return the structure to a watertight condition, CS-1500 was applied in conjunction with CS-80, a concrete primer designed for use with ConSeal’s elastomeric sealants. The repairs were completed using approximately 120 – 10 fl. oz. tubes, effectively sealing the structures joints and cracks.
