The Situation:
The sealing of precast concrete in northern states is made tricky during the winter due to cold temperatures. A watertight joint is still required for installation, but providing that quality becomes more difficult; therefore, in this installation of precast concrete elliptical pipe it required a sealant that can provide the watertight quality during cold installation.
The Solution:
CS-202 was used because it compresses more than other sealants in cold weather installations and provides the same watertight qualities as other ConSeal products meeting the ASTM C-990 Standard – a simple solution with a quality product.
