During a highway construction project an ominous problem of stormwater drainage from a nearby creek had to be addressed. Therefore, a watertight stormwater drainage system needed to be installed.
Together, precast concrete box culverts sealed with ConSeal products and a poured-in-place storm water drain structure were installed to redirect the creeks runoff. CS-102 provided a watertight seal for the box culvert joints of the system. CS-212 provided external protection of the joints, CS-75 primer being used with the CS-212 to provide an extra secure seal. CS-231 Waterstop provided water tightness between precast box culverts and a poured-in-place concrete structure.
