The Situation:
At O’Hare International Airport a creek overflow would impede airport operations and therefore the situation needed to be addressed. A stormwater containment system was put in place to harness and contain the creek’s overflow so that it could be safely discharged without interrupting airport operations.
The Solution:
CS-102 was used on this project to give the stormwater containment system a watertight seal. This allowed for the system to be effective and allow airport operations to continue without interruptions from the creek overflow.
Sealant Application:
- Box Culvert
- Concrete Pipe
ConSeal Products Used:
Applicable Industry Standards:
- ASTM C-990
