ConWrap All-Purpose Polyethylene Outerwrap Protective Tape

A UV-resistant, polyethylene outerwrap tape that can be part of the ConWrap viscoelastic exterior joint wraps for corrosion prevention of underground and above ground systems. Polyethylene Outerwrap provides mechanical protection and containment of ConWrap AMS or other ConWrap corrosion prevention products. Polyethylene Outerwrap meets AWWA C-214 standards.

SEALING PROPERTIES

  • Meets AWWA C-214 standard.
  • Applies pressure to ensure good contact for ConWrap sealants and to aid in self-healing.
  • Impermeable to moisture.
  • Easy to apply, no mixing or messy clean-up.
  • Resistant to aggressive soil conditions such as water, salts, or soil organics.
  • Flexible, pliable, easily conforms to irregular shapes.
  • UV resistant.
  • Available sizes:
    • Standard thicknesses: 15 mils
    • Standard widths:
      • 2” (5cm) x 100’ (30.5M) – 24 rolls/ctn
      • 4” (10cm) x 100’ (30.5M) – 12 rolls/ctn
